About our company
Our nursery includes approximately 35 hectares of topiary trees and avenue trees. Our team consists of eight employees and with this we can get our work done. Someone in our team would work a little more pleasantly.
We can work efficiently because a large part of the trees on the plot behind our company. So close by. The other plots are located less than a kilometer from our company.
Furthermore, we are well mechanized. Many activities are carried out mechanically, such as cutting trees.
We work with a nice and friendly team that you can rely on.

The vacancy
Are you someone who likes to work with trees and gets satisfaction from working green?
We are looking for a pruner who, together with the team, ensures the maintenance of our trees.

What will you do?
At Boomkwekerij Johan van Overbeek we work daily on the growth and care of our trees. To keep them in top condition, they must be pruned on time and in the right way.
As a pruner, you are responsible for pruning the trees using electric or pneumatic pruning shears. This is done safely and efficiently from a cherry picker.
You work independently, but can always rely on your colleagues.
During the winter months, you help with the team during felling activities.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a colleague who:

- Has experience in the tree nursery or landscaping sector.
- Is available at least two days a week.
- Enjoys working outdoors and is not afraid of different weather conditions.
- Functions well both independently and in a team.
- Works accurately and has an eye for the health of the trees.
